How long does it take to build a sunroom?
Four to six weeks once the permit is approved. Getting the permit is its own phase, and the least predictable part of the schedule.
Do I need a permit for a sunroom in Wake County?
Yes. A sunroom is a structural addition, so it needs drawings, a permit, and inspections, the same as any home addition. We handle all three.
Can I use a sunroom in the winter?
A four-season room, yes. A three-season room will be cold in January.
What maintenance does a sunroom need?
Clean the glass, and check the seals and weatherproofing once a year. That's most of it.
Can a sunroom be built on my existing patio?
Often, if the slab is sound and sized right. We check condition, thickness, and footings first, because a slab that can't carry the load is expensive to discover later.
