Every Detail Is Yours to Decide
You already know how the house should feel. Maybe you've got the island placed and the primary suite facing the trees. What's harder is knowing what your lot allows and how far your budget reaches.
Then come the decisions. Hundreds of them, from roof pitch to cabinet depth to where every outlet goes, and nearly all have to be settled before a shovel touches the ground. On your own, that's overwhelming.
AG-CM is a licensed North Carolina general contractor, and Abdallah Atieh runs the whole build himself, from the first site walk to the final inspection. He tells you what each choice costs and what he'd do in your place. So the year you spend building is a year you enjoy.

Where Your Build Starts

You Own the Lot
We start with what the land will carry. Soils, setbacks, and utilities decide more about the house than the floor plan does.

You're Still Looking
We'll walk a lot with you before you buy it and tell you what it costs to build on. Two similar lots can differ by six figures.

Tear Down and Rebuild
Right neighborhood, wrong house. Demolition, permitting, and a new home on the same address.

You Need Plans Drawn
Design-build, start to finish. We bring in the architect and price the plan as it develops, so design and budget move together.

You Already Have Plans
Drawings from an architect or a plan service. We price them, flag what the county will push back on, and build.
What Building a Custom Home in Wake County Looks Like
Three to six months on paper, then nine to twelve months of construction.
Lot & Feasibility

Design, Budget & Permitting
We price the plans as they're drawn. Then the drawings and site plan go to Cary or Wake County for review.

Clearing, grading, and footings, then framing, roof, and house wrap. Footing, foundation, and framing inspections along the way.
Mechanicals, Finishes & Walkthrough

What Our Clients Have to Say

Custom Home Building FAQs
How long does it take to build a custom home in Cary?
Three to six months of design and permitting, then nine to twelve months of construction.
Do you handle permits and inspections in Wake County?
Yes. We file the drawings, work the plan review corrections, and meet every inspection through the certificate of occupancy. Same in Durham and Orange.
Can I change things once construction starts?
Yes, and it costs less the earlier you do it. Anything after the walls close up gets a written change order with cost and schedule impact before work begins.
