What Goes Into a High End Kitchen Remodel
What you choose is what separates a high end kitchen from a standard one. If you are also opening up the layout, start with open concept kitchen remodeling.
Stone you pick yourself.
You choose the actual slab at the yard. Edges can be mitered thick or run down the side of the island as a waterfall.
Professional appliances.
A commercial style range needs its own gas or electrical service, a hood sized to its output, and often a makeup air unit.
Panel ready fronts.
The refrigerator and dishwasher take cabinet doors that match the rest of the room and sit flush with the surrounding run.
A custom island.
Built to your room rather than a standard size. Often carries a prep sink, a second dishwasher, or seating on one side.
Layered lighting.
Under cabinet, ceiling, and pendant fixtures on separate dimmable circuits, wired so each layer is switched on its own.
Custom hood and trim.
The hood surround, crown molding, and finish carpentry are built and fit on site rather than ordered in stock lengths.

Slab stone or handmade tile carried up to the underside of the cabinets, or all the way to the ceiling behind the range.
